Charlotte Dujardin – from groom to Olympic gold

Horse & Country have been lucky enough to follow Charlotte Dujardin’s career from the very beginning – and we have taken you with us on this incredible journey.

We first saw Charlotte in Carl Hester’s Fantastic Elastic masterclass riding Valegro and we knew they were superstars in the making. Since then we have been watched them win Olympic gold at London 2012, and perform their last test together at Olympia.

None of this would have been possible without the support of Carl, who spotted Charlotte’s talent all those years ago and graciously gave her the ride on Valegro. Carl has also enjoyed incredible success and the pair has become known as Britain’s king and queen of dressage.
