H&C Ltd is a privately-owned network operating under a UK Ofcom licence. Its Board of Directors and management team includes Heather Killen, the CEO and Chairman of H&C TV. Ms Killen is also a partner in London-based corporate advisory and investment firm, Hemisphere Capital. Ms Killen’s experience includes the development and management of Yahoo!’s business outside the US from 1996 to 2001.
Matt Rothman, Non-Executive Director, is Managing Partner of Hemisphere Capital, a technology focused investment and advisory firm in London, UK and New York, US since 2003. From 2000 to 2002, he was CEO of SOFTBANK Emerging Markets, a $200 million fund established by SOFTBANK Corp. and the International Finance Corp.
Jeff Kupsky, Non-Executive Director, based in Chicago, is currently engaged in various advisory and investment activities involving media and education companies. He is presently on the board of Immerse Learning (formerly LanguageLab) and H&C TV. This follows an extended career with Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., a subsidiary of Time Warner and one of the premiere international media companies. His most recent position was as President of Turner’s European, Middle Eastern and African division.
Susan Elkington, Non-Executive Director and Director of Network Development and Business Affairs is a Consultant and formerly EVP, Chellomedia, a division of Liberty Global, from 2000 to 2013, with senior executive roles at PolyGram Filmed Entertainment, and MD, BBC Worldwide EMEA.
Richard Burdett is Chief Creative Officer of H&C TV. His experience includes senior roles within the creative agency, media agency, commercial and public service broadcasting sectors, with firms including Saatchi & Saatchi, Flextech, and Channel Four.
