Pint-sized ponies in Springboard Finals

The 2015 Springboard Championships at South View Equestrian Centre in Cheshire sawtiny ponies jumping some impressively big fences – what’s not to like?

Nine-year-old’sIsabella Snowden from Harrogate, North Yorkshire was crowned the 128cm Champion riding Penchwintan Glynle. Six made it through to the jump off, but none could beat the pint-sized partnership’s time of 35.04sec.

Ten-year-old Jake Myers from Devon was close behind her in 35.99sec to take second place riding Pablo XII.

Fast time

Taking the title in the 138cm Championship was 12-year-old Beau Ottley from Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire. In a seven-strong jump-off, Beau and Bubble Pop Electric werenearly two seconds faster than the competition, winning the class with a fast time of 32.35sec.

Second place went to 13 year-old Molly Beadle and Fuzzy from Leeds in 34.28sec.
