Hickstead: Longines Royal International Horse Show

Heading image

The Longines Royal International Horse Show took place at Hickstead from Wednesday 24 to Sunday 28 July this year. The event hosted a leg of the FEI Jumping Nations Cup, as well as many other famous showjumping competitions including the King George V Gold Cup and the Science Supplements BHS Queen Elizabeth II Cup.

This year, Hickstead also held the 10 For Tim race, where teams of famous faces ran around the main arena, raising money for the Tim Stockdale Foundation, in memory of legendary showjumper Tim Stockdale. The foundation aims to raise money to help young people on their pathway to sporting success, whether helping them as individuals or assisting the youth competition structure. The foundation’s work will extend to other sports along with equestrian disciplines, such as cricket and golf.
