One of the biggest showjumping events in the equestrian calendar will once again play host to a number of classes in aid of Forces Equine this weekend.

The Staffordshire venue every year attracts a number of top international riders and showing competitors, with FEI classes as well as an array of trade stands for the keen equestrian shoppers.

Scope festival is being held this week (21-27 August) and comes to a climax on the weekend, where the Forces Equine classes set out to raise as much money as possible for charities; UK Emergency Services and Armed Forces, Serving, Ex-Serving, Dependents and Injured Service Personnel.

This will be the fourth consecutive year Forces Equine participate at the Festival, with this Saturday’s Services Challenge Cup and Plate classes being held in the all-weather ring next to the International arena.

There are prizes and winnings of up to £1000 to be won in the Forces Equine pairs challenge as well as the chance to raise money for charity.
