Jayne Ross was once again a worthy winner at Hickstead when taking the Supreme Hunter Championship at the Longines Royal International Horse Show.

A clash of champions

Today’s Supreme Hunter Championship class produced an array of hunter winners, all contesting for the top prize.

Jayne Ross and the bay mare, Time 2 Reflect, were crowned the overal winners after an effortless display impressed the judges.

As winners of the morning’s lightweight class, Jayne had high hopes for the nine-year-old hunter, who moved gracefully across the turf in the International Arena.

Hickstead judges Lily Cook, Jane Hubbard and Nigel Fuller were quick to name their winner after Time 2 Reflect galloped impressively in front of the grandstand.

Greys impress

Taking reserve Champion with her own Sundance Boy was Sofia Scott, who won the middleweight class that morning. The grey gelding gleamed in the Sussex sunshine and a top three placing always looked likely.

At just seven years old, the middleweight hunter looked a class act.
