You can watch two major showjumping competitions LIVE on Horse & Country in December: The Rolex Grand Prix and Rolex IJRC Top Ten Final.

Rolex Grand Slam

Both events take place at CHI Geneva (6-9 December), which is one of the four Majors in the Rolex Grand Slam of Showjumping. This series is one of the toughest in equestrian sport, offering the biggest prize money.

Any rider that can consecutively win three Majors at Geneva, `s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands, Aachen in Germany, or Spruce Meadows in Canada receives a €1m bonus.

Scott Brash is the only rider in history to have achieved such a feat in 2015, riding Hello Sanctos.

Top ten riders

Egypt’s Sameh El Dahan is the current Grand Slam contender, following his victory in the Rolex Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows in September. However, he faces stiff competition in Geneva, including last year’s winner Kent Farrington.

In addition to the Rolex Grand Prix, we are showing live action from the Rolex IJRC Top Ten Final. This prestigious competition brings together the top ten riders in the International Jumping Riders Club’s (IJRC). The club includes riders ranked in the top 300, as well as those who have taken part in an Olympic Games, World or Continental Championships, or at least five Nation Cups.

This year names include Scott Brash, Eric Lamaze, and the world’s top two ranking riders, Harrie Smolders and Steve Guerdat.
