This week’s LeMieux National Dressage Championships will see a host of Great Britain’s best dressage horses and riders head to Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire for four busy days of competition (15-18 September).

Championship titles from Prelim to Grand Prix will be decided, including the prestigious LeMieux National Dressage Champion, last year won by Charlotte Dujardin and Barolo.

As well as the competition, dressage legend Kyra Kyrklund is the host of this year’s masterclass. In her native Finland, Kyra has been National Dressage Champion ten times; she has taken part in six successive Olympic Games, won a silver medal at the World Equestrian Games in 1990, and won the FEI World Cup Final in 1991 with the great stallion, Matador.

If you want to be there to watch in person, tickets are available on the gate. But you’ll also be able to watch plenty of the action with Horse & Country.

The LeMieux National Dressage Championships will feature in a one-hour special coming soon to the channel. Additionally, all of the tests from the Horse Health Grand Prix Freestyle and the LeMieux Grand Prix will be available in full and on-demand on H&C Play, H&C’s online and app-based service.

The one-hour programme will feature highlights of the Grand Prix Freestyle as well as the Salute to the British Olympic medallists, with Fiona Bigwood, Charlotte Dujardin, Carl Hester and Spencer Wilton all in attendance. There will also be interviews and behind the scenes action, all presented by H&C’s Jenny Rudall. The premiere is at 9pm on Sunday 25 September and the broadcast sponsors are LeMieux and Equipe.

The programme will also be broadcast on H&C’s local channels in The Netherlands, Sweden, Australia and Germany, showcasing British dressage talent to a wider international audience.

And for those who want all the dressage they can get, all of the tests from the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle will be available exclusively in H&C Play.

“We are delighted that Horse & Country are confirmed as media partners for our National Championships once again,” said Jason Brautigam, Chief Executive of British Dressage. “We are currently enjoying four days of top class dressage action at Stoneleigh, showcasing the best of British talent, so it will be fantastic to share some of the highlights with our supporters and enthusiasts who were unable to attend, as well as bring the Nationals to a whole new audience.”
