Steve Guerdat has won the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final in front of a delighted home crowd.

‘Give it everything’

The Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final always promises world-class sport, with the very best riders competing for the coveted trophy. This year didn’t disappoint, with Swiss hero Steve riding an incredible jump-off with Alamo, to take the title.

“I had a really good feeling with him in the warm-up ring, he was really listening to me, so I decided I had to give it everything in the jump-off,” said Steve. “Alamo responded to me so well in the ring and road beautifully, I am just so proud of him.

Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann was close behind in second place ahead of USA’s McLain Ward who claimed the third podium spot.

‘Feels incredible’

Steve has now equalled Rodrigo Pessoa’s record of the greatest number of wins at CHI Geneva

“Rodrigo was an idol of mine when I was younger, so to know that we share the same number of victories in Geneva feels incredible and is very pleasing to hear,” said Steve.
