If you love showjumping you will love the TV shows coming to H&C in April.

Top class

We have got top class showjumping competitions, from all around the globe. First up is the FEI World Cup Jumping Final from Nebraska in the USA, which will be shown on H&C on Saturday 8 April at 9pm.

Can Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat win the title for a third year running? He will certainly have his work cut out as he will be up against the likes of Ludger Beerbaum, Marcus Ehning and Laura Kraut.

Magnificent venue

This will be followed by the Saut Hermès CSI5* and Grand Prix on the 14 and 15 of April. Saut Hermès is held at the Grand Palais in Paris, which is a magnificent glass-roofed venue. Its Grand Prix is one of the toughest competitions on the international circuit, and attracts the world’s very best showjumpers.

Another major event coming to H&C on 15 April is the Longines Global Champions Tour. We will be showing highlights from every show throughout the season, and this month the 2017 series kicks off in Mexico City.

JumpingClash Challenge

We are also excited to bring you a new competition called the JumpingClash Challenge. The event in Antwerp takes place over three days and sees eight riders divided into two groups: seeded (the top four riders in the FEI rankings) and challengers (the top four riders from qualifying rounds).

The riders are paired up with one another and go head-to-head around a course of jumps. The loser of each ‘clash’ is eliminated, until the final rider is crowned champion.

You can watch all the action on Sky channel 253 or online by subscribing to H&C Play.
