Imagine if you could pick the brains of an Olympian? Well, in Horse & Country’s latest Masterclass, we’ll be getting tips and techniques to perfect those dressage scores with Laura Tomlinson MBE (née Bechtolsheimer)!

Daughter of renowned dressage trainer, breeder and mentor, Dr. Wilfried Bechtolscheimer – Laura has certainly had some of the best training available and is here to pass on some exercises to help you see success with yours.

The masterclass looks at how to use lateral work, suppleness and bending work to generate better straightness, before showing us how to use those techniques to create a perfect centre line.

She uses 10-year-old Finn (Fallatijn Van Kairos) an up-and-coming Grand Prix horse, to demonstrate lateral work and entry in trot. She then brings out 13-year-old Duval’s Capri Sonne Jr (Cas) to show preparation and entry in canter.

With a whole host of tips and advice from one of the world’s very best riders, this Masterclass is for every dressage enthusiast – whether they be new rider or a seasoned expert.

This 60-minute Masterclass is available exclusively to H&C+ subscribers from Thursday 23rd July 2020.
