Event riders and close friends of Hannah Francis will take on a tandem skydive challenge later this month, with the aim of drawing further attention to the fantastic charity and legacy the young rider left behind.

There are 40 places available and all riders and supporters of Willberry Wonder Pony are encouraged to sign up. The challenge will be held at the Army Parachute Association in, Netheravon, Wiltshire on Saturday 29th October.

The fundraising event has already sparked up a flurry of chat on social media sites as event riders Dani Evans and Tom Grant have announced they will both take on the leap.

“This is a fantastic way to get the eventing family together again, raising money and keeping Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony charity in the public eye. I know I will be petrified but nothing can be as frightening as the fear Hannah faced, and we are doing this to keep her memory and the charity alive and kicking!” said Dani.

We’re also pleased to report that our All Star Josh Noakes is also among the riders taking the plunge.

Chosen riders will carry the Willberry Wonder Pony and act as team leaders during the skydive event, as Hannah’s charity sets to become even more recognisable.

“I for one and I am sure hundreds of others want to do right by Hannah’s wishes and one of Hannah’s wishes was to make Willberry as big, or if not bigger than Pudsey,” said eventer Tom Grant.
