We are counting down the days until Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials 2018. It’s one of our favourite events and Horse & Country will be there from start to finish to bring you all the latest news.

Exclusive preview show

Last year was thrilling as always, with Andrew Nicholson finally achieving a win after 37 attempts in 33 years.

The tough cross-country saw a number of top riders run into problems. It was Eric Winter’s first year as course designer and he didn’t hold his punches. Out of 80 starters, only 32 went clear, 32 were retired or eliminated and only Tim Price and Michael Jung managed to make it home inside the time.

So what has Eric planned for this year? You can find out in our EXCLUSIVE half-hour preview show, which goes out on Wednesday 18 April.

Jenny Rudall will be interviewing Eric Winter and getting the inside track on what challenges the riders can expect. She will also be speaking to Andrew about his win last year and his plans for Badminton 2018.

Access-all-areas

Horse & Country will then be at the live event, for all four days, bringing you news, interviews and gossip. This year we are delighted to be providing social media for Badminton – in addition to our own Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages – so you are guaranteed access-all-areas coverage.

If all this wasn’t enough, we then have a one-hour highlight programme, which goes out the week after Badminton.

Don’t miss Badminton 2018 Preview when it premieres online on Horse & Country TV and Amazon Video on Wednesday 18 April at 8pm. This will be followed by highlights of the event, with Badminton 2018 on Saturday May 12 at 8pm. Both shows will then be available to watch on Catch Up.
