Dressage and jumping from Bolesworth International coming to Horse & Country

World class showjumping and dressage stars are heading to Chester in June for the Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show – and you can watch the action on Horse & Country.

Breath-taking backdrop

It’s hard to believe Bolesworth started just 11 years ago, as it is now one of the most well-established equestrian events in the UK. It’s spectacular setting, with the castle providing a breath-taking backdrop, and great facilities has put the show on a par with the top European events.

We are showing highlights of the CSI4* Equitop Freestyle (Saturday 23 June at 7pm) and the CSI4* Equerry Grand Prix (Sunday 24 June at 8pm).

British number one

Showjumpers to look out for in the Grand Prix include British number one Ben Maher – who is on incredible form at the moment – crowd favourite John Whitaker, his nephew William, Harriet Nuttall. From Ireland there is Shane Breen, Trevor Breen and Conor Swail, while from the USA, Bolesworth International welcomes Laura Kraut, Jessica Springsteen and Eve Jobs – the youngest of daughter of Steve Jobs.

Last year at Bolesworth Eve had the biggest win of her career, taking the CSI4* 1.45m Speed Class. It was the 18-year-old’s four-star debut and she is definitely one to watch this year.

Carl and Charlotte

Dressage at Bolesworth International only gained its four-star status last year, but it’s already made its mark on the world of dressage.

Names to watch this year include Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin, who will be riding their current stars and potential World Equestrian Games rides, Hawtins Delicato and Mount St John Freestyle. Both combinations are on flying form, taking the top two spots in the Grand Prix and Freestyle at Windsor in May.

Don’t miss this spectacular event on Horse & Country. Bolesworth 2018: Equitop Freestyle premieres on Horse & Country TV and Amazon Video on Saturday 23 June at 7pm. This will be followed by Bolesworth 2018: Equerry GP on Sunday 24 June at 8pm.
