Summer has barely arrived and already we’re mentioning the ‘c’ word. But if you want a chance to see Charlotte Dujardin at Olympia, you need to get your Christmas head on.

Sell-out

Last year’s show was a virtualsell-out, so Olympia organisers are advising fans to apply for tickets early if they want to see the world’s best competing in London.

Expectations will be high as in last year’s FEI World Cup Dressage Charlotte achieved two world records. The entries won’t be revealed until later in the season, but Charlotte and her dressage megastar have competed at the show every year since 2011.

Alongside the dressage there will be the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping – which was won by Germany’s Marco Kutscher in 2014 – as well as World Cup Driving, which saw Boyd Excell reclaim his Olympia title.

Highlights

Other popular classes include the Alltech Christmas Puissance on the Thursday evening performance and the Grand Prix on the final night – won last year by Ben Maher and Diva II.

There are also the usual equestrian displays, Shetland Pony Grand National, Kennel Club Dog Agility and shopping village.

World class

Show director, Simon Brooks-Ward said: “Last year was the first time that the show has been close to selling out all of the twelve performances, making it the most popular Olympia to date.

“We’re delighted that we can offer equestrian fans the best in world class sport and family entertainment – this is what has made Olympia one of the most sought after events to attend and we’ll be pulling out all the stops to make sure that 2015 is even bigger and better”.
