H&C brings Burghley back to you – with a brand new boxset!

Looking for some inspiration during lockdown? Never fear… H&C are on hand to help!

From Monday 20th April, we’re bringing H&C subscribers a brand new boxset of momentous Burghley highlights for you to binge and enjoy! With 10 years of fabulous performances, from the likes of Mary King, Mark Todd and Chris Burton – there’s lots to learn from and a wide range of courses to oggle at!

The following years will be part of the set:

• 2016: H&C favourite, Christopher Burton (AUS), wins with NOBILIS 18
• 2015: The unstoppable Michael Jung (GER) wins on La Biosthetique-Sam FBW! Despite falling from his previous ride and breaking his leg(!), Michael went on to win the event. A remarkable year for a remarkable man, this year Michael also won the Grand Slam of Eventing in 2015 – winning both the 2016 Kentucky Three Day (now the Land Rover Kentucky Three Day) on FischerRocana FST and the 2016 Badminton Horse Trials on La Biosthetique-Sam FBW.
• 2012: Andrew Nicholson (NZL) has his first of three back to back wins on eventing legend Avebury
• 2011: William Fox-Pitt (GBR) wins on Parklane Hawk
• 2010: Caroline Powell (NZL) wins on pocket-rocket Lenamore – one of the most-loved eventing horses of all time
• 2003: Pippa Funnell (GBR) takes the win on Prinmore’s Pride, along with the Grand Slam of Eventing title for this season – with another win on Prinmore’s Pride at the Kentucky Three Day, and a win at Badminton on Supreme Rock.
• 1996: British eventing legend Mary King (GBR) and the ever-popular, Star Appeal take the win this year
• 1994: William Fox-Pitt (GBR) has his first Burghley win, aboard gelding, Chaka
• 1993: Stephen Bradley (USA) became (at the time!) the second ever American rider to win the event on superstar, Sassy Reason
• 1990: Mark Todd (NZL) on FACE THE MUSIC
