Series 1 Winner: Rhianydd Lee-Jones

Meet Rhianydd Lee-Jones, the winner of the first series of Blue Chip All Star Academy. The rider, who lives in the Vale of Glamorgan, impressed the panel of judges from the outset with her outgoing personality, her equestrian knowledge and her riding skills.

The former polocrosse player, who is now a vlogger for the Horse & Country TV website, had the opportunity to guest present H&C TV’s magazine show, Rudall’s Round-Up, from the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, alongside presenter Jenny Rudall. In addition, Rhi received a year’s sponsorship from the show’s title sponsors Blue Chip Feed. She has also joined the Horse & Country TV team in reporting from Hickstead and Olympia, and has filmed with top names such as Gemma Tattersall and Sophie Wells.

Joining Rhi as vloggers were the three runners up: Issy Nami, a dressage rider from Bolton, two-star event rider Josh Noakes from Staffordshire, and Berkshire-based event rider and model Lucy Robinson. The format changes slightly this year in that all seven finalists will have the opportunity to become vlog stars for H&C TV.
