London, United Kingdom – April 15th, 2020 – The latest episode of H&C’s lockdown series, The Check In, features dressage superstar Carl Hester in conversation with Jenny Rudall. Carl talks about lockdown life, how the team and horses are coping (not forgetting the dogs, chickens and guineafowl) and the impact of the postponement of the 2020 Olympics.

Carl’s recent baking and artistic efforts for Equestrian Relief come under the microscope as do some of his wardrobe choices during over ten years of filming with H&C. Most touchingly, Carl recalls Dr Wilfred Bechtolsheimer, the man he credits with giving him the opportunity that led to his success, who passed away recently.

The programme, as with all episodes of The Check In, is free to watch on demand at the H&C website or in the free H&C apps. It’s also available on H&C’s free channel, premiering at 8.30pm on Wednesday 15th April with repeat showings thereafter. To find H&C Free, go to horseandcountry.tv and click on “Channels”.
