In Spotlight on Eventing 2025, H&C presenter Nicole Brown meets with riders including Tom McEwen, Caroline Harris, Emily King, Jemima Howden, Fred Scala and Sam Ecroyd who share details of their approach to the individual events. Course Designers including Eric Winter, David Evans and Andy Heffernan, outline as much detail of their plans for this year’s courses as Nicole was able to squeeze out of them. And Alec Lochore, Laura de Wesselow, Stuart Buntine and Katrina Midgley offer the Organiser’s perspective, along with a palpable sense of excitement at the season to come.
There are also contributions from David Howden, the President of Cornbury House Horse Trials, Richard Waygood, Eventing Performance Manager at British Equestrian, and Saffron Cresswell who will be joining Nicole on commentary duty for H&C this season. A consistent theme throughout the interviews is the role and importance of the eight and nine year old classes at Blenheim which H&C are streaming, and which have produced so many future 5* winners.
