Elizabeth Power: ‘He’s the bravest horse’

Heading image

As one of only two clear rounds of the class, and dodging the course pitfalls that jinxed so many other riders, Elizabeth Power flew into first place in a near flat out round on the brave and bold Doonaveeragh O One in The Amlin Plus Eventers Challenge at Hickstead.

Best of the rest

Tim Price may not of gone clear but he made up for his four faults with an astonishingly quick round on the The Precious One to take second place.

Laura Collett showed her form by taking the third spot with Mr Bass, while being cheered on by her mate and fellow eventer Gemma Tattersall over the tannoy.

Super cob

Ben Hobday delighted the crowds and got the biggest cheer of the day with ‘super cob’ Mulrys Error bombing round the ring with Willberry the Wonder Pony strapped to his back.
