Time 2 Reflect clocks up another win

Jayne Ross and Time 2 Reflect are back to back Champions in the Supreme Ridden Horse Championship at the Longines Royal International Horse Show.

Impressive winner

Once again the pair were unbeatable in today’s British Horse Society Supreme Ridden Horse Championship, taking the title for another year running.

Winners of the Supreme Hunter Championship class earlier in the week, Jayne produced an impressive performance in the International Areana to notch up the best score and receive the biggest prize of them all.

A regular champion on the showing circuit, this time around Jayne admitted how the nerves got to her “I definitely felt more pressure this year,” she said.

Crowds were very vocal and cheered on Jayne and the bay mare as they galloped effortlessly infront of the Hickstead stand.

Super scores

A substantial score of 27 from the three judges, which included Team GB’s manager Di Lampard, meant Jayne was the outright winner.

“For the first time in my life I’d been able to add up and I knew that I had won,” said Jayne after her win.

Runner up in the championship and the most favoured combination, was Allister Hood and the grey cob – Our Cashel Blue.

The winners of Thursdays Supreme Cob Championship, the duo recieved the biggest cheer from spectators as Allister galloped around the arena lifting his hat in the air.

How they finished

In joint third place was Oliver Hood and Friday’s Supreme Riding Horse Champion – Diamonds Are Forever and Edward Young with his Supreme Hack Champion – Classic Chauvanist.

Laura Rowe and the Pure Bred Arabian finished in fourth spot.
