This weekend marks the final episode of The All Star Diaries Series 1 on H&C TV – but fear not, a second series series is starting this autumn.

Life-changing

Vloggers Josh, Lucy and Issy have shared the up and downs of their horsey lives with us over the past 12 months, and we will be sad to see them go. But we are also excited to meet the new faces from Series 2 of the Blue Chip All Star Academy.

The 2016 winner Rhi Lee-Jones is staying on at H&C, as she is filling in for Jenny Rudall who is on maternity leave. Taking part in the Academy really has been a life-changing event for Rhi, who has interviewed some of the world’s top riders.

Watch episode eight of The All Star Diaries Series 1 to find out who her favourites are and how she judges a good interviewee.

Shocking results

Rhi came to the Academy with Bob, who was only three weeks off the racetrack, after her other horse went lame. Her advice for the new recruits?

“Put your all in even when you are the underdog,” she says. “I never thought I’d survive the Academy, let alone win it. Just keep trying and do your best and sometimes you can have crazy, shocking results.”

Opportunities

This final episode of The All Star Diaries Series 1 also looks back over the four finalists’ time in the Academy and sees them talking about their highlights from the past year. According to Josh, the TV series gave him so many opportunities, while Lucy said she is much more confident since taking part.

The one thing all the 2016 Academy finalists agree on: stay on the right side of Pammy. You have been warned!

Don’t miss the final episode of The All Star Diaries Series 1 when it premieres on Saturday 8 April at 8pm on Sky 253. If you don’t have Sky you can watch online by subscribing to H&C Play.
