From the archives: Training Police Horses

In 1967 British Pathé visited the Metropolitan Police training facility at Imber Court, Surrey, to film the latest batch of trainee horses being put through their paces in glorious technicolour. Back then it took six months for a horse to complete its training and exercises included dealing with a “crowd of soccer rowdies”!
